We have three airports here in the DMV. The closest one to The Planner Social is Ronald Regan (DCA). We also have Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore Washington International (BWI).

As far as lodging, there are plenty of hotels 5-10 mins away from the venue:

Hilton Garden Inn Arlington Shirlington

Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Courthouse

Hyatt Place Arlington/Courthouse Plaza

Just bring yourself, a good attitude, your planner/ journal, and your ID! That is all that is required.

Most planner event goers like to bring swaps, contact cards, tablemate gifts, money to purchase vendor items. However these are all optional!

Contacts Cards: A small business card or sticker sheet that has your name, picture of you, social media info, and sometimes a QR code to give to new friends to connect during and after the event.

Swaps: A small gift usually given with contact cards to new friends you wish to connect with. Ex: candy, pens, washi, pins, stickers, vinyls, bows, iron on patches

Tablemate gifts: A gift given to the group of individuals sitting at your table to connect with further. It is usually a bigger gift than a swap since it is for a fewer amount of people. Ex: tote bags, pencil pouches, tumblers, mugs, sticker kits, snacks, etc.

There will be 72 attendees and 8 attendees per table.

I would bring 7 tablemate gifts and for swaps, as many as you reasonably think you would pass out to connect with the other attendees.

Yes! There is free street parking at the venue.

On Street Parking

There is ample free unrestricted parking on surrounding neighborhood streets, including:

✔ 1 marked handicapped space in front of the Venue;

✔ About thirty parking spaces on both sides of North Fillmore Street;

✔ About a dozen parking spaces on North 4th Street;

✔ About six to eight parking spaces on North Garfield Street;

✔ About six to eight parking spaces on both sides of Pershing Drive;

✔ Quite a few more parking spaces within a couple blocks in all directions.

No on-street parking is permitted next to the venue on the south side of North 4th Street and the East side of North Garfield Street.

Please be considerate of the people in the neighborhood and don't park so you block any driveways, cross-walks, etc.

Yes, please bring your wallets! We plan on showcasing at least 4 smalll businesses that you will be able to shop with during the event.

Yes, please bring any stationery items that are no longer bringing you joy. Other attendees will love to shop your stash!

Yes, there are no assigned seats at this years Planner Social. You can sit wherever you see a seat.

The Planner Social tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. Please reach out to charmedandpoised@gmail.com to transfer your ticket to someone on the waitlist or a transferee you have secured by August 1st. Please note, you will be charged a $10 transfer fee.

I'm so sorry that you are unable to attend TPS. Unfortunately, tickets are nonrefundable and you will forfeit all swag, supplies, and items you would have received as a part of attending the event.
